For years Dr. Astrolog Şenay Yangel has reiterated that no job could and should not be performed without getting the right training. Unfortunately, there are no educational establishments on astrology in Turkey. Due to this, there are many who have entitled themselves as astrologers albeit not being true practitioners who have received relevant education in this field. Most of these so called astrologers grab the public from its weakest point, the hopes of the people and abuse them under the given circumstances.

Astrology does not tell you what you’d like to hear. However, those who do not know the code of practice and are not even a true practitioner of this lore, gain popularity by relating what public would like to hear to the people. Unfortunately, this ends up in disappointment. The number of these astrologers and their misconduct has reached such a height that being deceived, the public considers astrology to be nothing more than sophistry and rejects astrology without knowing what it truly is.
